Travis and Tara’s gorgeous outdoor wedding was full of soft colors, big beautiful blooms, an intimate lakefront setting, and details that feel both timeless and modern.

Tara looked so elegant in a tulle gown with intricate floral detail on the bodice. Her long hair was pulled back in a romantic half-up fashion and featured a beautiful floral rhinestone hair piece. Her bridesmaids complemented her nicely in white gowns, which made all of their bountiful bouquets of white blooms and fresh greenery standout against them. Travis and his groomsmen looked handsome in light grey suits.

The ceremony was held on the waterfront, creating a relaxed atmosphere that celebrated Travis and Tara and the natural beauty of the location. With a rustic cross decorated with a lovely floral arrangement as the altar, all eyes were on the couple as they recited their vows and said their “I do’s.” Travis and Tara lit candles to signify the two coming together as one. It was a truly romantic, intimate ceremony!

The fresh, natural beauty of the location was incorporated into the reception as well. Tall abundant arrangements of greenery were fixed above round tables dressed in white linens and topped with large candles and votives. A long farm table featured a bountiful strand of greenery that stood out against the natural color palette. The warm glow given off by the hanging market lights overhead further accentuated the romantic ambience.

After hearing heartfelt (and hilarious!) toasts from their loved ones, and after enjoying a delicious dinner catered by Rocky Top catering, it was time for dessert. Guests were able to choose from an assortment of sweet treats, but of course the thing on everyone’s mind was the beautiful wedding cake. Travis and Tara’s cake was a three-tiered creation featuring a cascading arrangement of light blooms and greenery, similar to Tara’s bouquet.

After a night of dancing and even more laughs, it was finally time for Travis and Tara to depart from their friends and family. The newlyweds left under an archway of sparklers before retreating on a four-wheeler sporting a “Just Married” sign on the back and a trail of empty seltzer cans collected from the celebration. What a unique, romantic wedding – cheers to Tara and Travis!
