Bridal Session at Rose Hill

Weddings Lookbook Preferred Vendors:

Nestled just outside of Raleigh and sitting atop a picturesque countryside lies Rose Hill’s 18th-century manor house. The private country lane leading up to the historic home is lined with beautiful crepe myrtle trees, creating a comforting southern aesthetic. The manor house emanates vintage charm and elegance with its large front porch, tall windows, and blue ceiling – a deeply southern tradition fabled to ward off bad spirits. The decorous estate also features an exquisite, spacious ballroom perfect for a reception.

The gorgeous grounds of Rose Hill provided the idyllic backdrop for bride Courtney’s bridal photos. The photographer captured the intricate lace detail featured throughout the bodice and train of her gown, which had a sweetheart neckline and dainty embellishments. She carried a bouquet bursting with color from vibrant pink blooms, light colored roses, and an abundance of greenery. Courtney’s colorful bouquet added an air of femininity to her already elegant gown.

The front lawn of the historic home showcases beautifully manicured shrubs and flowers of varying hues, while the landscape behind the home features a serene pond complete with a fountain and resident swans! The natural beauty of the landscape coupled with centuries of history gives the charming manor an ethereal vibe that is sure to make any wedding unforgettable.
